Who makes Europe?
Matadero, Madrid. Exhibition June 6th to July 14th 2013


The work Map, made especially for the exhibition “Who makes Europe”in Matadero Museum, Madrid, reproduces a similar work done in 2009 for the exhibition “New territories” in Lisbon. On that time, after the exhibition in Portugal in Pavilao 28, the Map has been stolen or disappeared in mysterious circumstances. The invitation to the exhibition at Matadero was an impulse to start working on new piece to create a modern map of Europe again. In the artistic process the boundaries were destroyed, sewn by traversing its territory people.
