photos form the Norrebro in the Copenhagen city

Where do immigrants have their home? Being an illegal newcomer is associated with constant fear and hiding. Watching the world from separated and excluded positions. A series of pictures created while my stay at a residence in Copenhagen in 2011. I was living in Norebrro, a district inhabited by people involved in art and design. However, the population is dominated by immigrants from Arab countries. Norrebro is probably the most dangerous district in Copenhagen. The slots cut out in the fabric, shown in the pictures, serve as a window to observe the world, as through a veil. On the other hand, they are like a crack in a tarp covering a Muslim woman whose body and face are hidden.
