Simple but Sophisticated
outfit design – cooperation with Botkyrka Kvinnoresurscenter

In the spring of 2013, Markiewicz had a residency in Fittja through Residence Botkyrka where she collaborated with a group of women from Botkyrka Womens’ Resource Centre, an organisation working with gender equality and providing support and work opportunities for women. Through the collaboration Markiewicz designed a collection of garments inspired by the shape of a house, the group then produced the collection and the first batch of ready-made garments will be displayed in the exhibition where they are also for sale. The design will then be re-used and sold by Botkyrka Womens Resource Center after the exhibition.
