Suturing with Diana – this is another of my works stretching over time, it is a record of the education process of Diana Sule’s daughter – PhellicRegina. For the 3rd year in a row, Diana collects 3 worn-out school uniforms from students in Kenya, repairs them for me. I pay for new uniforms and a year of her daughter’s education. Diana says that PhellicRegina is also my daughter since we started this exchange. 🩵 I will be collecting sweaters for the next few years, they will create a cycle accompanying the growth of the little Kenyan.
