Let me strike a new path
A path of radiance, a change form darkness

This quote comes from a poem by Diana Adhiambo titled “Change.” It was embroidered with gold thread on an old tapestry. It resembles the figure from the Tarot World Card, passing through a luminous portal, whose shape recalls the visions of Hildegard of Bingen. Some people now claim that these luminous portals were the aura that appears during migraines (which, of course, does not diminish Hildegard herself); I know them well from my own migraine experience. The gold fringes were also added by me, as were several other elements.
